I strongly believe that giving back is essential. I have received so much from so many for so long that I can’t even keep count. What I can do is to help others succeed 🙌🚀.

In the past years, I had a great honour to contribute as a member of multiple non-profit boards, grassroots movements, events, organizations, and advisory panels across Canada. As life happens 😔, and the number of opportunities always exceeds the amount of time available in a day, in 2019 I made a decision to focus on helping with the following four projects/organizations.

Vancouver Startup Week

Vancouver Startup Week 2018

In 2018, we had 3000+ attendees, 100+ official events & 100+ partners

Vancouver Startup Week connects entrepreneurs, investors, community leaders, and friends to build momentum and opportunity around our community’s unique entrepreneurial identity.

Product Camp Vancouver

ProductCamp Vancouver is the premiere event for Product Management, Product Marketing, and Marketing professionals to teach to, learn from, and network with each other.

ProductCamp is an un-conference, meaning that it is FREE to attendees! Your only cost is your participation – bring your ideas, lead a session in your area of expertise, facilitate a round table discussion, network, or volunteer.

Startups Care 2018

In 2018, together with 103 local startups we raised $44,652 and 3,360 lbs of food for the Vancouver Food Bank

Startups Care is a grassroots volunteer organization. We are a collective of grateful people working in the Vancouver technology scene trying to give back to our community. Together we raise money for charity, and are having fun doing it.

Product Brew

In 2018, 150+ product managers attended our events

Product Brew is a place for technical product managers, product owners, and other types of product folks to meet, chat, learn, and grab a drink. We bring together PMs passionate about growing professionally, networking, and building the PM community in Vancouver.

Product Brew is all about getting to know each other, and sharing thoughts, and ideas.

The willingness to share does not make one charitable; it makes one free.
